I absolutely love the second one. Why? Well, in my opinion the second one looks cleaner and sharper, it doest distract the eyes with a flood of images around it. I think one needs to ask the questions, will i want people to notice the images or to read the design/logo. When i view the second one Im able to read the name clearly and at the same time its pleasant to my eyes.
Hmm, I agree. However I needed to quickly create a signature with "PickMeDown" in it and I was testing out new styles. Besides, the folding text with reflection nearly took me 4 HOURS to complete.

Yes, i would imagine anything with the clean and superb quality like that would take many many hours! But its all worth it in the end and very rewarding once is able to make such good work.
Actually, I thought that making it would be very easy. However, the many layer and layers of images i had to manage at the same time started to bother me. Making just one letter fold was a pain in the butt, and I had to make all 9 letters fold.

Actually I do. However, I can't trim the picture as that wpuld cut some of the bubbles, and I want the text length to be the length of my screen, so I can't resize it either. Unless I erase some of the bubbles and decrease thw height a little. But I'm afraid that it would ruin the bubbly effect.

Just an idea but instead of the splashing water why not do it underwater instead? Use air bubbles for the effect and you can reduce the width of your signature. I know the amount of work behind doing something like that so i will say that is no easy task. The effect once done should be fantastic.
Would you mind putting up a tutorial on how to make the second one. That caught my eye, and I love the whole sticker aspect to the image. I have always been into that type of imagery. If you look on ProSLG you will see in the top right i have stickers on it as well
